Job summary

LG Electronics in Bangalore is seeking an experienced Embedded BSP Developer to join our Automotive Software Development team. You will develop, customize, integrate, and maintain BSPs for automotive ECU platforms, collaborating with hardware, middleware, application, and OEM teams to support bring-up, driver development, and system integration.

The role requires hands-on work with Linux/QNX/RTOS, kernel and bootloader configuration, device drivers, and performance optimization throughout the

Qualifications

• Proficient in Embedded C programming.
• Experience in Embedded Software Development.
• Knowledge of Python and shell scripting.
• Proficient with Makefiles and GNU Build Systems.
• Experience with Yocto build system and BitBake recipes.

Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain BSP solutions for Automotive ECU platforms.
• Port and integrate Linux, QNX, and RTOS software on new hardware.
• Configure and customize Linux Kernel, Device Tree, Bootloader, and system components.
• Customize vendor BSPs based on project and OEM requirements.
• Develop and maintain device drivers for Ethernet, CAN/CAN-FD, LIN, SPI, I2C, UART, USB, PCIe, GPIO, and storage.
