Job summary

BVR People Consulting is seeking a CAD designer with hands-on experience in UG NX to create 2D drawings and 3D models for fixtures. The role requires applying GD&T during drawings, coordinating PFMEA activities with the CFT team, and ensuring design timeliness and budget adherence.

You will participate in development meetings, revise models as needed, and stay updated with CAD advancements. This position is based in Bengaluru, India, with opportunities to contribute across project phases.

Responsibilities

• Creating the Fixture design and drawing using UG NX software
• Hands on experience on advanced clamping system for fixture design
• Understanding of GD&T and implementation of the same while drawing
• Involving with CFT team to execute PFMEA activity
• Attending development meetings and establishing project timelines
• Making corrections or revisions to the 2D or 3D models as requested
• Keeping up-to-date with the latest developments and technologies in CAD
• Coordinating with other team members to obtain relevant information for drawings
• Adhering to the timelines and budget while creating designs
• Reviewing design concepts and making recommendations
• Maintaining data base for all the activity involved in designs process
• Updating and maintaining design documentations
• Providing data as required for PPAP documentations
