Tech Mahindra is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer specializing in Sheetmetal with strong UG NX and Creo experience. The role covers machine design, fixture and weldment work, GD&T, and BOM documentation. Exposure to PLM tools like Teamcenter and SAP is preferred.

You will contribute to concept-to-release design and manufacturing drawings in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has hands-on 3D-CAD capabilities, knowledge of ASME standards, and familiarity with SPM (Special Purpose

Formación

• Strong in Machine Design / R&D Design experience.
• Strong in tooling/fixture design (No welding fixture or BIW).
• Strong in Design Calculations, materials selections.
• Should have good understanding on fixture concept, working principle of common OEMs like bearings, gearbox, toggles, slides etc
• Capable to own the project delivery completely (from concept to release)
• Good Knowledge on Material Selection, Machining and Fabrication process and post processing operations.
• Thorough knowledge in calculations to define structures/loads, choose the right OEMs and its accessories in the market.
• Pro-efficient in creating manufacturing drawings, defining tolerances with GD&T.
• Pro-efficient in UG NX is a must
• Awareness on Manufacturing techniques.
• Hydraulics or pneumatics knowledge will be an add advantage

Responsabilidades

• Own project delivery from concept to release.
• Create manufacturing drawings with GD&T and tolerances.
• Collaborate on PLM processes (ECO/ECR) and BOM documentation.
• Support design reviews and supplier interactions as needed.

Mechanical Design with Unigraphics NX in Sheetmetal

Mechanical Design with CREO in Sheetmetal

• Strong Hands-on experience in Creo for 3D-CAD Design ( Mandatory)
• Experience in machine Design Sheetmetal, machining and Weldment Design
• Good Knowledge of GD&T and Manufacturing drawing creation and Design Review
• Experience in BOM Creation and design Documentation
• Exposure to PLM , SAP and Engineering Change management (ECO/ECR)
• Hands-on Experience with SPM (Special Purpose Machinery) process
• Assembly Design and Detailing as per ASME Standards

NX CAD Modelling

• Strong Hands-on experience in UG NX for 3D-CAD Design ( Mandatory)
• Exposure to Teamcenter PLM Tool
• Expertise in Detailed 3D modelling and complex Assemblies
• Experience in machined Parts and precision component Design
• Experience in material Selection
• Experience in machine Design Sheetmetal, machining and Weldment Design
• Knowledge in Weldments and structural Design
• Good Knowledge of GD&T and Manufacturing drawing creation and Design Review
• Experience in BOM Creation and design Documentation
