Job summary

Junior To Genius, an educational initiative of SVSpaceUnlock Spacetech Pvt Ltd, in Mumbai, seeks two Model Rocketry Engineers / STEM Tutors to develop model rocketry programs and deliver engaging technical sessions. You will help create curricula, resources, and hands-on activities for school students.

Role includes online/offline training, rocket development support, and demonstrations. Freshers welcome; candidates should be based in Mumbai and ready for occasional in-person workshops.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc./M.Sc. in Aerospace, Aeronautical, Mechanical, Electronics, Physics or related fields.
• Freshers are welcome.
• Basic understanding of physics, aerodynamics and rocketry concepts.
• Strong interest in space science and STEM education.
• Good communication and presentation skills; ability to explain concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve model rocket designs and learning activities.
• Prepare content on rocketry, aerodynamics, propulsion fundamentals, and flight mechanics.
• Conduct online/offline training sessions for students.
• Assist with rocket assembly, testing, launch prep, and demonstrations under supervision.
• Create presentations, study materials, and hands-on workshop activities.
• Support STEM workshops and occasional on-site education events in Mumbai.
• Research new concepts in model rocketry and space science.

Job Description

We are looking for two enthusiastic *Model Rocketry Engineers / STEM Tutors* who are passionate about rockets, aerospace technology, and teaching.

The selected candidates will help us develop model rocketry educational programs, prepare learning materials, support rocket development activities, and deliver engaging technical sessions to students.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and improve educational model rocket designs and learning activities.
• Prepare technical and educational content related to model rocketry, aerodynamics, propulsion fundamentals, and flight mechanics.
• Conduct online /offline training sessions and explain rocketry concepts to school students.
• Assist with model rocket assembly, testing, launch preparation, and recovery-system demonstrations under appropriate supervision.
• Develop presentations, study materials, and practical workshop activities.
• Support STEM workshops, demonstrations, and occasional on-site educational events in Mumbai.
• Research new concepts and educational techniques in model rocketry and space science.
• Coordinate with the Space Unlock team on educational and technical activities.

Eligibility & Qualifications

• B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. / M.Sc. students or graduates in Aerospace, Aeronautical, Mechanical, Electronics, Physics, or related fields.
• Freshers are encouraged to apply.
• Basic understanding of physics, aerodynamics, and rocketry concepts.
• Strong interest in space science, model rockets, and STEM education.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts in simple language.
• Candidates must be based in Mumbai.

Added Advantages

• Previous experience with model rockets or rocketry competitions.
• Knowledge of OpenRocket, CAD software, Arduino, or basic electronics.
• Experience conducting STEM workshops, tutoring, or science demonstrations.
• Participation in college aerospace clubs, robotics teams, or technical projects.
