Job summary

IQVIA is hiring for a Model N Application specialist with PL/SQL and Python. You will work on Model N Flex modules, perform SQL/Unix development, and participate in data integration and migration tasks. The role requires 4–8 years IT experience and familiarity with onshore-offshore delivery.

Hybrid work model with Bengaluru or Kochi office visits on Thursdays and Fridays. Knowledge of CI/CD, reporting tools, and data tools will be an advantage.

Qualifications

• 4+ years IT industry experience.
• Life sciences Managed Market domain knowledge.
• 2+ years Model N Flex modules: MDM, Contracts, Chargebacks, settlements.
• Hands-on Oracle SQL, PL/SQL and Unix.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in performance/query tuning with explain plans.
• Strong Python development experience.
• Knowledge of Data Integration and Data Migration.
• Knowledge of Informatica/DataStage/Mulesoft.
• Databricks experience is a plus.
• Cognos/Tableau reporting is a plus.
• Familiar with waterfall/Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Must Have Skills: PLSQL, Python as primary skill set and must worked on Model N Domain.

Educational Qualification: BE/BTech/ MTech/ MCA (Minimum bachelors degree) Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Skills and Requirements:

• Resource must have 4+ years of IT Industry experience.
• Resource must have knowledge on Life sciences Managed Market domain.
• Resource must possess good Techno Functional knowledge in Model N Flex application for 2+ years in various Model N Modules (MDM, Contracts, Chargebacks and settlement processing, Medicaid, Government pricing).
• Resource must have hands on experience in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL and Unix.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD.
• Should have experience with Performance tuning, Query tuning by generating and explaining plan for SQL queries.
• Should have good experience in working with Python.
• Should have knowledge in Data Integration, Data Migration.
• Has working knowledge of other integration technologies like Informatica / DataStage / Mulesoft.
• Having worked on Databricks is a plus.
• Having worked on any reporting tools like Cognos / Tableau is a plus.
• Should have knowledge in project development methodologies like waterfall / Agile.
• Good in Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good in communication skills.
• Self-motivated, ability to work independently with minimal direction from the supervisors and be team oriented with ability to work in
  onshore-offshore model.
