Job summary

VME Vhire Solutions in Kochi is seeking a PL/SQL Developer with strong hands-on PL/SQL development experience and 2+ years in database development. The role is permanent, hybrid (3 days WFO per week), with two virtual interview rounds.

Candidates should have experience with Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL or equivalents, and be proficient in complex SQL, performance tuning, and data modeling. Nice to have Snowflake and Python.

Required Skills

• Primary Skillset: PL/SQL (any database platform is acceptable)
• Secondary Skillset (Good to Have): Snowflake, Python
• Strong hands-on experience in PL/SQL development.
• Good knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or any equivalent database platform.
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, performance tuning, and database optimization.
• Understanding of database design principles, normalization, and data modeling.
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database performance issues.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have Skills

• Experience with Snowflake Data Warehouse.
• Knowledge of Python for data processing, automation, or scripting.
• Exposure to ETL/ELT tools and data integration processes.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and data warehousing concepts.

Qualifications
