Job summary

NIQ is seeking an experienced PL/SQL and Python Developer to join our Technology hub in India. You will build, maintain, and transform factory systems critical to the business, with responsibilities spanning design, coding, and deployment of data processing engines.

You will work on AI/Gen AI solutions aligned with business needs, and contribute to enterprise cloud deployments on Azure, including containerized workloads on AKS. Strong communication and Agile experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL and advanced SQL programming, Python and Java
• Experience implementing AI solutions in enterprise environments
• Proven track record in solution design
• Hands-on experience with large data sets and building robust data processing engines
• Experience with configuration management, monitoring and DB performance tuning
• Strong English communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with Azure cloud and deploying docker containers on AKS (bonus)
• Certifications in Azure or Agile add weight

We are looking for an experiencedPL/SQLand PythonDeveloper to be part of our Technology hub in India to build, maintain and transform our factory systems, that are critical to the business.

Qualifications

• Good experience working with large data sets with hands-on technology skills to design and build robust data processing engine using industry standard frameworks
• Hands-on configuration management, monitoring, performance tuning of database operations
• Open and quick to learn new technologies and tools
• Experience working on Java and cloud platforms would be a bonus
• Excellent problem solving, hands‑on engineering skills and communication skills
• Engineering degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
• Intermediatelevel understandingof Agile methodology, and software delivery via CI/CD.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in an enterprise Agile/SCRUMenvironment
• Strong knowledge of version control tools, preferablyGitHub
• Experience using Atlassian tool suite, including JIRA, Confluence andGithub
• Good to have experience working in an Azure Environment mainly deployment of code as docker container on AKS. Distributed deployment on AKS, debug containers, AKS load balancer.
• Certifications in Azure and or Agile would give additional weightage.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to effectively interface across cross‑functional technology teams and the business
• Minimum B.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
• Motivated, high‑potential performer, with demonstrated ability to influence and lead.
• Knowledge on AI Essential, Gen AIetc
