Job summary

Hyundai MOBIS India is seeking an Automotive Model V&V Engineer to perform verification and validation of automotive software models. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in MATLAB, Simulink, M-Script, RBT, and SBT, and knowledge of ASPICE and ISO 26262 standards, with hands-on experience in automotive embedded systems and ADAS domains.

Qualifications

• Hands-on MATLAB, Simulink and M-Script experience.
• Knowledge of RBT and SBT testing.
• Experience in MIL/SIL testing and automotive software validation.
• Familiarity with ASPICE SWE.4 & SWE.5.
• Understanding of ISO 26262 functional safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Execute RBT and SBT for automotive embedded software and models.
• Perform model-level verification and validation using MATLAB, Simulink, and M-Script.
• Develop, execute, and maintain test cases to ensure requirements.
• Conduct MIL (Model-in-the-Loop) and SIL (Software-in-the-Loop) testing.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, perform root cause analysis.
• Ensure compliance with ASPICE SWE.4 and SWE.5.
• Support test automation and validation activities using M-Script, Jenkins, and JFrog-based CI/CT pipelines.
• Collaborate with software development, system, and functional safety teams to ensure software quality.
• Generate and maintain test reports, traceability matrices, and validation documentation.
• Improve testing processes, automation frameworks, and overall product quality for ADAS applications.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in MATLAB, Simulink, M-Script, Requirement-Based Testing (RBT), Structure-Based Testing (SBT), ASPICE, and ISO 26262 standards, along with experience in automotive embedded systems and ADAS domains.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Execute Requirement-Based Testing (RBT) and Structure-Based Testing (SBT) for automotive embedded software and models.
• Perform model-level verification and validation using MATLAB, Simulink, and M-Script.
• Develop, execute, and maintain test cases to ensure compliance with functional and technical requirements.
• Conduct MIL (Model-in-the-Loop) and SIL (Software-in-the-Loop) testing activities.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, perform root cause analysis, and support issue resolution.
• Ensure compliance with ASPICE (SWE.4 & SWE.5) and ISO 26262 standards.
• Support test automation and validation activities using M-Script, Jenkins, and JFrog-based CI/CT pipelines.
• Collaborate with software development, system, and functional safety teams to ensure software quality.
• Generate and maintain test reports, traceability matrices, and validation documentation.

Mandatory Skills

• Hands-on experience in MATLAB, Simulink, and M-Script.
• Strong knowledge of Requirement-Based Testing (RBT) and Structure-Based Testing (SBT).
• Experience in Dynamic Testing and automotive software validation.
• Knowledge of ASPICE processes, especially SWE.4 and SWE.5.
• Understanding of ISO 26262 Functional Safety standards.
• Experience in MIL/SIL testing methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins, JFrog, and CI/CT pipelines.
• Experience in Model-Based Development (MBD) and automotive embedded software testing.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills.

Preferred Skills

• Python scripting.
• C programming.
• Knowledge of ADAS systems and automotive embedded software.
• Experience in test automation and continuous integration environments.

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Computer Science, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
