Job summary

Zensar Technologies Limited in Mumbai seeks a seasoned Mobile Test Engineer to elevate the quality, performance, and reliability of our mobile apps by designing automated Detox test suites and integrating testing into CI/CD within an Agile environment.

You will execute manual and automated tests on Android and iOS, develop test plans and data, and mentor junior QA engineers while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure high‑quality releases.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in mobile testing and QA automation.
• Hands-on experience testing React Native applications.
• Expertise with Detox for end-to-end automation testing.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of Android and iOS ecosystems.
• Experience with Jira for test management and defect tracking.
• Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated Detox test scripts for React Native applications.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing on Android and iOS platforms.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to ensure high-quality releases.
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Validate application performance, usability, and stability across multiple devices and OS versions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best testing practices.
