Job summary

Zensar Technologies in Bengaluru is seeking a Senior QA Tester to drive the testing strategy for our e-commerce migration project. You will lead test planning, design, and execution across the retail platform, collaborating with product and development teams to ensure quality releases.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of QA testing experience in retail/e-commerce.
• Experience leading testing teams in an e-commerce context.
• Strong knowledge of Azure, Azure DevOps and Azure Test Plans.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Exposure to microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Solid SDLC and Agile methodologies knowledge.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks independently with good communication.

As a Senior QA Tester, you will play a crucial role in our e-commerce migration project. Your expertise in retail and e-commerce, coupled with your experience in Azure, will be instrumental in ensuring the successful migration of our retail customers platform. • Perform in-depth testing of the retail customers platform, identifying and reporting issues.
• Execute regression, integration, system, smoke, and UAT testing.
• Implement automated testing frameworks and tools to enhance efficiency and coverage.
• Conduct performance and load testing to ensure the platforms scalability and stability.
• Create detailed test cases and test scripts, covering various scenarios and edge cases.
• Review and provide feedback on the development teams code and designs.
• Lead and manage the testing team, ensuring efficient and effective test execution.
• Document and communicate test results, providing clear and actionable insights.
• Stay updated with the latest testing methodologies and best practices in the retail and e-commerce domain.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in QA testing, with a focus on retail and e-commerce projects.
• Proven experience in leading and managing testing teams, preferably in an e-commerce context.
• Strong knowledge of Azure and its testing capabilities, including Azure DevOps and Azure Test Plans.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Exposure to microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
• Excellent understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.
• Proficiency in test case design and test script creation.
