Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with BaNCS Payments module.
  • 3–5 years of software testing with knowledge of critical payment rails: SWIFT, SAMOS, CBPR+, SADC, FX.
  • Experience in manual testing and test case design.
  • Experience with test automation tools (Playwright, UFT, or similar).
  • Knowledge of cross-border payments, RTGS, and FX workflows.
  • Proficiency in defect tracking tools (JIRA, Octane).
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed test cases based on functional and technical specifications.
  • Perform manual testing to validate system behavior across multiple payment rails.
  • Collaborate with automation teams to identify test cases for automation.
  • Provide inputs for automation scripts and frameworks.
  • Validate upgrade from BaNCS v10 to v14 with zero disruption in payment flows.
  • Conduct end-to-end testing across integrated systems and interfaces.
  • Log, track, and verify defects using standard tools.
  • Work closely with developers and business analysts for timely resolutions.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
