Job summary

Fores Elastomech in India seeks an experienced Rubber Mixing In-charge to lead all rubber mixing operations and ensure on-time production with quality and safety. You will oversee manpower, materials, and equipment, drive continuous improvements, and coordinate with production leadership.

Ideal candidates bring 8–12 years in rubber compounding and mixing, plus hands-on experience with Banbury mixers, kneaders, and mill/batch-off equipment, and strong leadership and ERP skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Rubber Technology, Polymer/Mechanical/ Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 8–12 years of experience in rubber compounding and mixing operations.
• Hands-on knowledge of Banbury mixers, kneaders, two-roll mills and batch-off systems.
• Familiarity with rubber formulations and processing techniques.

Responsibilities

• Final Master Batch Planning, supervising and controlling rubber mixing operations to meet targets.
• Manage manpower, raw materials, machinery, process parameters and continuous improvement in mixing.
• Ensure production schedules are met according to manufacturing requirements.
• Monitor batch preparation, weighing, mixing and compound readiness for moulding.
• Optimize machine utilization and minimize downtime.

Job Title : Rubber Mixing In-charge (Immediate Joiners Preferred)

Reports to : Production Manager / Plant Head

Department : Rubber Mixing

Role & responsibilities:

• Final Master Batch Planning, supervising, and controlling all rubber mixing operations to ensure production targets, quality standards, safety requirements.
• The role involves managing manpower, raw materials, machinery, process parameters, and continuous improvement initiatives within the mixing department.
• Ensure production schedules are met according to manufacturing requirements.
• Monitor batch preparation, weighing, mixing, and compound readiness for Moulding
• Optimize machine utilization and minimize downtime.

Required Skills:

• Rubber compounding and mixing expertise.
• Production planning and manpower management.
• Quality management and problem-solving.
• Knowledge of TPM, Lean Manufacturing, and 5S practices.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Computer proficiency (ERP, MS Excel, production reporting systems).

Additional requirements:

• Familiarity with rubber injection Moulding process
• Knowledge of material handling and inventory management
• Experience with laboratory testing and analysis
• Equipment Maintenance
• Coordinate preventive maintenance activities for internal mixers, kneaders, mills, batch-off units, and related equipment.
• Report breakdowns and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Maintain equipment efficiency and reliability.

Education and Experience:

• Diploma or bachelors degree in Rubber Technology, Polymer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 812 years of experience in rubber compounding and mixing operations.
• Experience in handling Banbury mixers, kneaders, two-roll mills, and batch-off systems.
• Knowledge of rubber formulations and processing techniques.
