Job summary

The Sleep Company is seeking an MIS Executive to transform raw business data into actionable reports, dashboards and presentations for leadership. The ideal candidate excels in Excel, can build crisp PowerPoint decks, and is curious about using AI to automate reporting.

You will prepare routine MIS reports, develop dashboards, collect data from ERP/CRM/e-commerce, and collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, Marketing and Finance to meet deadlines while ensuring data accuracy and thorough

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Statistics, BA or related field.
• 13 years of experience in MIS, reporting or data analysis; strong Excel and AI skills may be considered freshers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and circulate daily, weekly and monthly MIS reports across sales, inventory, retail/store performance, marketing, logistics and finance.
• Build and maintain Excel dashboards, trackers and models using advanced formulas, Pivot Tables and charts.
• Collect, clean, consolidate and validate data from multiple sources (ERP, CRM, e-commerce platforms, store reports, Google Sheets).
• Create clear, visually polished PowerPoint presentations for management reviews and leadership updates.
• Automate repetitive reporting using Excel features (Power Query, macros) and AI tools to save time and reduce errors.
• Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, Gemini) for data analysis, summarization, formula generation and insight generation.
• Analyze trends, variances and anomalies, and highlight insights and recommended actions to stakeholders.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency and integrity across all reports; document report logic and processes.
• Coordinate with Sales, Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance and Retail teams to meet reporting deadlines.
• Handle ad-hoc data requests and support leadership with quick turnaround analysis.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build and maintain Excel dashboards, trackers and models using advanced formulas, Pivot Tables and charts.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Excel (Must Have)

• Advanced formulas: VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, IF, nested logic, text and date functions
• Pivot Tables, Pivot Charts, slicers and conditional formatting
• Data cleaning, validation and dashboard creation
• Working knowledge of Power Query; Macros/VBA is a plus

PowerPoint (Must Have)

• Ability to build structured, professional decks with charts, tables and clean layouts
• Storytelling with data: turning numbers into clear, concise insights
• Strong attention to formatting and brand consistency

AI Tools (Must Have)

• Hands-on experience with AI tools for analysis, reporting, content drafting and automation
• Good prompting skills to get accurate, usable outputs
• Ability to verify AI outputs and use them responsibly with business data

Good to Have

• Power BI, Tableau or Looker Studio
• Basic SQL
• Google Sheets / Apps Script
• Exposure to retail, D2C or e-commerce reporting

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors degree in Commerce, Statistics, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field (MBA/PGDM is a plus).
• 13 years of experience in MIS, reporting or data analysis (strong freshers with proven Excel and AI skills may also be considered).
