People Axis Advisory in Mumbai seeks a senior logistics data analyst to monitor and optimize projects and logistics operations. You will collect data, validate it, and generate MIS reports that drive KPIs across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, SCM, Commerce, or related field.
• 12 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or auditing roles.
• Good understanding of logistics and transportation metrics.
• Strong MIS and data analysis skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and Power Query; knowledge of Macros preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Track and monitor all projects and logistics operations.

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports covering key operational KPIs.
• Maintain logistics databases, trackers, dashboards, and records using Excel, ERP, TMS, and MIS tools.
• Monitor shipment status, delays, damages, exceptions, and escalations.
• Analyse operational trends, variances, gaps, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Prepare root-cause analysis reports for operational issues.
• Coordinate with Operations, Fleet, Warehouse, and Finance teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Ensure timely and accurate updates in TMS/ERP and expedite issues as per defined timelines.
