Job summary

Inframat Alloys Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a detail-oriented MIS Executive with experience in manufacturing to collect, analyze, and maintain operational data, and prepare MIS reports that inform decision-making.

The role involves monitoring production and inventory KPIs, generating dashboards, forecasting, and providing data-driven insights to improve operational efficiency across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business/commerce/statistics/computer applications or related field.
• 25 years of experience as an MIS Executive in manufacturing (steel or metal manufacturing experience is an added advantage).
• Strong knowledge of Advanced MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, Power Query, Dashboards, etc.).
• Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP or similar platforms.
• Working knowledge of SQL, MS Access, Power BI, or Tableau is preferred.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple reports with high accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Collect, validate, and maintain data from production, inventory, quality, and other departments.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports related to production, inventory, raw material consumption, and KPIs.
• Generate reports on production targets vs. achievement, machine-wise breakdowns, electricity consumption, yield, rejection, and consumables usage.
• Monitor and report on Raw Material Stock, WIP Stock, Finished Goods Stock, Hold Material Stock, and Dispatch Status.
• Analyze production data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
• Support management with customized reports, dashboards, forecasting, and data analysis.
• Maintain data accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality within the MIS system.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely reporting and data availability.
• Identify discrepancies in production and inventory data and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist in process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce losses.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and maintaining operational data, preparing MIS reports, monitoring production and inventory performance, and supporting management with actionable business insights to improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, validate, and maintain data from production, inventory, quality, and other operational departments.
