Job summary

You will collaborate with Sales, Operations, Finance, and HR, ensure data integrity, automate reporting with Excel macros, VBA, or SQL, and help leadership interpret insights to optimize workflows and planning.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Collect, aggregate, and validate data from multiple departments to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports and dashboards.
• Standardize reporting formats and maintain performance trackers.
• Analyze operational trends, variances and KPIs to identify improvements.
• Assist department heads in interpreting data for planning.
• Maintain data hygiene, ensuring data integrity, security, and archival practices.
• Automate repetitive data collection and reporting using Excel macros, VBA, or SQL.

Job Purpose

The MIS Executive will be responsible for gathering, compiling, analyzing, and reporting organization-wide data to support business decisions. The ideal candidate will transform raw data into actionable insights through daily, weekly, and monthly reports, dashboards, and operational performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities

Data Management & Reporting

• Collect, aggregate, and validate data from multiple departments (Sales, Operations, Finance, HR) to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly routine MIS reports, management dashboards, and ad-hoc analytical presentations.
• Standardize reporting formats and maintain periodic performance trackers.

Data Analysis & Insights

• Analyze operational trends, variances, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify process gaps and efficiency improvements.
• Assist department heads in interpreting data to optimize workflows and strategic planning.

Database & System Maintenance

• Maintain database hygiene, ensuring data integrity, security, and consistent archival practices.
• Automate repetitive data collection and reporting workflows using Excel macros, VBA, or SQL queries.

Inter-departmental Coordination

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve data discrepancies and align on standardized reporting parameters.
• Conduct periodic data audits across operational units.
