Job summary

Geetanjali Institute Of Medical Sciences is seeking a data/ MIS analyst to collect, consolidate, and validate data from various healthcare departments, and to prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for management.

The role includes maintaining Excel-based databases, dashboards, and trackers, monitoring key operational metrics, and automating recurring reports using Excel tools while ensuring data confidentiality and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Collect, consolidate, and validate data from healthcare departments.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for management.
• Maintain and update Excel-based databases, trackers, and dashboards.
• Monitor operational parameters such as patient registrations, admissions, OPD/IPD statistics, department performance, revenue reports, and appointment data.
• Identify data discrepancies and coordinate with departments for corrections.
• Generate management dashboards and performance summaries.
• Analyze trends and provide meaningful insights from operational data.
• Automate recurring reports using Excel formulas, Pivot Tables, and Power Query where possible.
• Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of patient and organizational data.
• Support management in ad-hoc reporting and data analysis requirements.

• Maintain and update Excel-based databases, trackers, and dashboards.
• Monitor key operational parameters such as:
  • Patient registrations and visits
  • Admissions and discharges
  • OPD/IPD statistics
  • Doctor/department performance
  • Revenue and collection reports
  • Pending cases and follow-ups
  • Appointment and cancellation data
  • Insurance/TPA-related reports
• Identify data discrepancies and coordinate with concerned departments for corrections.
• Generate management dashboards and performance summaries.
• Analyze trends and provide meaningful insights from operational data.
• Maintain proper documentation and version control of MIS reports.
• Automate recurring reports wherever possible using Excel formulas, Pivot Tables, Power Query, or other reporting tools.
• Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of patient and organizational data.
• Support management in ad-hoc reporting and data analysis requirements.
