Job summary

PhantomFX is seeking an organized data/archiving specialist to manage storage resources, archive/restore data, and ensure security policies are followed. You will coordinate with artists, Production and Editorial to ensure assets are available and manage client sends and downloads.

The role involves tracking physical media drives, supporting global needs with occasional shifts, and coordinating reviews across sites and clients globally.

Qualifications

• Must be highly organized with strong project management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Able to work within a team towards shared goals.
• Basic understanding of common file formats and resolutions.
• 2–3 years of experience in a related role.
• Must maintain confidential data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Manage data to ensure storage resources are used efficiently.
• Archive and restore data as required.
• Ensure security policies and procedures are followed.
• Coordinate with artists, Production and Editorial for assets.
• Fulfill client sends and downloads.
• Track and allocate physical media drives internally and externally.
• Occasionally work a shift pattern to support global needs.
• Coordinate review sessions across sites and clients globally.
• Collaborate with clients and imaging on review specs.
• Set up and test all telecom devices and platforms.
• Coordinate delivery of all material for reviews.

Job Description

• Managing data to ensure storage resources are used efficiently.
