Job summary

Birlasoft Limited in Bengaluru is seeking a Mid Level Power Apps Developer to design, develop, and deploy business applications using Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint Online. You will translate requirements into scalable solutions and work with IT and business stakeholders.

The role requires strong hands-on experience with Canvas and Model-Driven Apps, Dataverse, REST APIs, and ALM. You will document solutions and ensure secure, compliant deployments across environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT experience designing and delivering Power Platform apps (Power Apps, Power Automate) and SharePoint Online.
• Hands-on development with Power Apps Canvas and Model-Driven Apps; Dataverse data modeling.
• Experience integrating Power Platform with external systems via REST APIs and connectors.
• Translate requirements into scalable, end‑to‑end solutions for Windows/Office 365 environments.
• Proficient with Power Fx formulas and basic Power BI, plus SharePoint Online admin tasks.
• Strong stakeholder communication and documentation skills.

Subcontractor Area(s) of responsibility Power Apps Developer: Job Description 5+ years of relevant IT application experience in designing, developing, integrating, and supporting business applications using Microsoft Power Platform, majorly Power Apps and Power Automate, SharePoint Online and Office 365. Work with individuals, teams, business owners, IT and leadership to ensure web application design, development, understanding requirements, translating them into scalable solutions, and delivering applications end to end.

Must have skills:

• Strong hands-on experience in application development with Power Apps Canvas Apps, Power Apps Model-Driven Apps, Microsoft Dataverse, Power Automate, and SharePoint Online.
• Design and maintain Dataverse tables, relationships, business rules, security roles, views, and other components.
• Excellent understanding of Power Apps and Power Automate connectors and integration with SharePoint Online, and other Office 365 services.
• Experience integrating Power Platform applications with external systems using REST APIs, connectors, HTTP actions, custom connectors, Graph APIs or other appropriate approaches.
• Write and maintain Power Fx formulas for application logic and data manipulation.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Graph API.
• Hands on experience in Basic Power BI, Expertise in SharePoint Online out of the box features implementation.
• Experience customizing SharePoint lists and disparate systems with PowerApps.
• Foundational knowledge of Office 365 platform including Power Platform and SharePoint Online admin center, Azure AD, OneDrive, Microsoft Lists, etc.
• Experience with requirement gathering and business analysis.
• Ability to interact confidently with clients and business stakeholders.
• Experience preparing technical and functional documentation.
• Understanding of application security, permissions, and role-based access.
• Understanding of Power Platform ALM, including solutions and deployment across environments.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Good to have knowledge on :

• Good to have hands-on experience in Power Apps Component Framework (PCF) Controls.
• Experience in application development using with SPFx, React JS, jQuery, JavaScript, CSOM, C#, HTML and CSS.
• Experience with Custom Connectors and premium connectors.
• A clear understanding of PowerApps formulas and development methods.
• Experience with Azure AI services and AI-based solutions.
• Experience with AI Builder.
• Experience developing Copilot agents / Copilot Studio solutions.
• Proficient creating PowerShell scripts PNP Scripting for automation of SharePoint tasks.
• Good to have knowledge on reporting tools such as High charts, Google Charts, SSRS.
• Good understanding of ITIL processes specifically Incident Management, Problem Management, Service request and Change Management.
• Dataverse knowledge and practical implementation Microsoft Certified in Power Platform.
