Job summary

Amor Management Consultants is seeking a Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Functional Consultant for a hands-on role in Guindy, Chennai. You will configure modules, analyze business needs, and support end users across finance, procurement, inventory, and assets.

Ideal candidates have 4–6 years of D365 F&O experience, strong communication, and the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams. Arabic knowledge is a plus, and the role is on-site in Chennai.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Configure and support D365 F&O modules based on business requirements.
• Handle Finance functions: GL, AP, AR, Cash & Bank, budgeting, taxation, financial closing.
• Manage Procurement & Sourcing: requisitions, RFQs, POs, vendor management, workflows, approvals.
• Support Inventory & Warehouse: inventory transactions, transfers, stock counting, receiving, reservations, batch/serial tracking, reconciliation.
• Manage Fixed Assets: acquisition, depreciation, transfers, disposal, asset books, posting.
• Support Asset Management & Maintenance: asset records, locations, work orders, PM, scheduling.
• Perform system configuration, workflow setup, security, DMF data migration, master data management.
• Conduct Fit-Gap Analysis, prepare functional specs, coordinate with developers, support integrations.
• Coordinate UAT, provide user training, prepare functional documentation, production support.
• Work with stakeholders and technical teams to resolve issues and improve processes.

Job Description

• We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) Functional Consultant with hands-on experience in module configuration, business process analysis, implementation, and support. The candidate should be able to understand business requirements, configure the system, coordinate with technical teams, and support end users across key functional modules.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and support Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O modules based on business requirements.
• Handle Finance functions, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Cash & Bank Management, budgeting, taxation, and financial closing.
• Manage Procurement & Sourcing processes, including purchase requisitions, RFQs, purchase orders, vendor management, purchase agreements, workflows, and approvals.
• Support Inventory & Warehouse Management, including inventory transactions, transfer orders, stock counting, receiving, picking, reservations, batch/serial tracking, and inventory reconciliation.
• Manage Fixed Assets processes, including asset acquisition, depreciation, transfers, disposal, asset books, and posting profiles.
• Support Asset Management and Maintenance processes, including asset records, functional locations, work orders, preventive maintenance, maintenance plans, and scheduling.
• Perform system configuration, workflow setup, security configuration, data migration using Data Management Framework (DMF), and master data management.
• Conduct Fit-Gap Analysis, prepare functional specifications, coordinate with developers, and support integrations.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), provide user training, prepare functional documentation, and handle production support.
• Work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to resolve functional issues and improve business processes.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
• Strong functional knowledge of Finance, Procurement & Sourcing, Inventory & Warehouse Management, and Fixed Assets.
• Good understanding of Asset Management and Maintenance processes.
• Experience in D365 F&O configuration, workflows, security, DMF, UAT, and production support.
• Ability to gather business requirements, conduct Fit-Gap Analysis, and prepare functional specifications.
• Strong communication, documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent English communication is mandatory; Arabic language skills will be an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Real Estate, Construction, Facility Management, Procurement, or Warehouse Operations.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform and system integrations.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications will be an added advantage.
