Job summary

Persistent Systems is seeking a Microsoft 365 Copilot Developer to design, build and deploy enterprise conversational agents using Copilot Studio and Power Platform. You will integrate with Teams, SharePoint, and REST APIs, while ensuring security and governance across environments.

The role requires 5–8 years of hands-on experience in Copilot Studio development, Power Platform, and enterprise knowledge management. We offer a hybrid work model and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience developing Copilot Studio agents.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).
• Experience with Microsoft 365 integrations across Teams, SharePoint, Outlook.
• Power Virtual Agents migration or modernization to Copilot Studio.
• Proficiency with REST APIs, custom connectors, plugins, and OpenAPI.
• Experience configuring enterprise knowledge sources such as SharePoint and Dataverse.
• Understanding of Entra ID, RBAC, DLP, and security governance.
• Experience with deployment, source control, environment management, and CI/CD.
• Strong troubleshooting, stakeholder communication, solution design, and documentation.
• Certifications in Power Platform or Copilot are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Extend Copilot Studio with enterprise knowledge, actions, and automated workflows.
• Integrate Copilot solutions with Microsoft 365 apps, REST APIs, and connectors.
• Develop workflow automation using Power Automate.
• Configure knowledge sources like SharePoint, Dataverse, and websites.
• Publish and manage agents across Teams, Copilot, SharePoint, and web.
• Design prompts, topics, entities, variables, and conversation flows.
• Implement deployment strategies across Dev, Test, UAT, Prod.
• Apply security, compliance, access control, DLP, and Responsible AI practices.
• Monitor, test, troubleshoot, and optimise agent performance and outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable Copilot solutions.

The Microsoft 365 Copilot Developer will design, build, integrate, deploy, and optimise enterprise conversational agents and automation solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and Microsoft Power Platform. The role requires hands-on development experience across agent orchestration, enterprise knowledge grounding, workflow automation, APIs, connectors, security, governance, and application lifecycle management.

What You'll Do:

• Build and manage Microsoft Copilot Studio agents and conversational workflows.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• Hands-on experience in Microsoft Copilot Studio agent development.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 integrations across Teams, SharePoint, and Outlook.
• Experience with Power Virtual Agents and migration or modernisation to Copilot Studio.
• Proficiency in REST APIs, custom connectors, plugins, and OpenAPI definitions.
• Experience configuring enterprise knowledge sources such as SharePoint and Dataverse.
