Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Ensure proper maintenance of equipment and safety conditions in the microbiology lab.
• Maintain adequate inventory of media and consumables.
• Perform sampling of RM, FG, CIP, in-process, environmental swabs, hand swabs, and water as per SOP.
• Conduct microbiological analysis of RM, FG, CIP, in-process samples, environmental monitoring, and purified water.
• Perform environmental monitoring (EM) including air, surface, and personnel monitoring.
• Ensure proper microbiological waste disposal as per regulatory standards.
• Maintain all lab documentation and ensure compliance with SOPs and GMP guidelines.
• Conduct personal hygiene and plant hygiene audits on a routine basis.
• Perform qualification and validation activities related to lab and plant.
• Investigate Out of Specification (OOS) results, perform root cause analysis, and implement CAPA.
