Job summary

Puniska Injectables Pvt. Ltd. in Goa seeks a microbiology professional to join our quality lab. You will perform microbiological testing of purified water, WFI, and other pharmaceutical samples to support release and compliance.

Responsibilities include environmental monitoring, sterility testing, media prep, GPT, and maintaining GMP/GLP documentation. You will report deviations and support investigations, CAPAs, audits, and lab housekeeping.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of microbiology testing methods.
• Strong attention to detail and record-keeping.
• Familiarity with GMP/GLP documentation and SOPs.

• Perform microbiological testing of purified water, WFI, and other pharmaceutical samples.
• Conduct environmental monitoring, including air, surface, and personnel monitoring.
• Perform sterility testing, BET, bioburden testing, and microbial limit testing, as assigned.
• Prepare culture media and perform Growth Promotion Tests (GPT).
• Monitor cleanroom microbiological conditions and support contamination control activities.
• Operate laboratory equipment and maintain calibration and usage records.
• Maintain laboratory documentation in compliance with GMP, GLP, and SOPs.
• Report deviations, OOS results, and microbiological excursions to the supervisor.
• Support investigations, CAPA, audits, and laboratory housekeeping activities.
