Job summary

NetApp in Bengaluru is seeking a senior AI/Analytics leader to steer a multi-team organization building scalable AI platforms, conversational analytics, self-service analytics, and enterprise BI solutions. You will define technology direction, oversee hiring and performance, and partner with business leaders to deliver measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 14+ years in Software Engineering, Data Platforms, or related fields.
• 7+ years in people management; 2+ years managing managers or multiple teams.
• Proven enterprise-scale AI, analytics, or data-driven product delivery.
• Strong expertise in AI/ML, LLMs, RAG, AI agents, software architecture, cloud, APIs, data pipelines.

Required Qualifications

• 14+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Data Platforms, Data Science, or related fields.
• 7+ years of people management experience.
• 2+ years managing managers or multiple teams.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale AI, analytics, or data-driven products.
• Strong expertise in AI/ML, LLMs, RAG, AI agents, software architecture, cloud platforms, APIs, data pipelines, and BI solutions.
• Hands-on experience with database technologies, ETL/ELT pipelines, and large-scale data platforms.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and strategic planning skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Conversational AI and Agentic Analytics.
• Knowledge of Azure OpenAI, LLMs, RAG, Vector Databases, and MLOps.
• Proficiency in Python, C#, .NET, and SQL Server.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Spark, and Power BI.
• Expertise in cloud-native architectures, microservices, DevOps, CI/CD, and observability.

Education

• Typically requires a minimum of 14+ years of related experience.Mgr & Exec - Typically requires a minimum of 10 years of related experience.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
