Job summary

TE Connectivity seeks an experienced Facilities Manager in Pune to oversee operation and maintenance of large plant facilities. You will manage infrastructure such as DG sets, chillers, STP/ETP, and ensure TPM-driven uptime while driving energy/water projects to cut carbon footprint.

The role requires 15–18 years of hands-on facilities experience, with a track record in budgeting and building strong teams. You will coordinate expansions and ensure compliance with EHS/OHSAS standards and

Qualifications

• 15-18 years hands-on experience with facilities equipment
• At least 5 years experience in budgeting and team development
• Experience delivering large capital projects with civil/electrical scope

Responsibilities

• Maintain the plant facilities infrastructure (DG, compressors, UPS, chillers, STP, ETP)
• Budget the facilities spend for the year
• Develop and upskill the facilities team
• Apply TPM methodology to achieve zero downtime on equipment
• Execute energy and water projects to reduce facility footprint year over year
• Plan and execute expansions or new facility construction
• Ensure legal and statutory compliances for Facility Management as per EHS and OHSAS
• Support reporting officer in strategic development activities
• Complete projects per agreed timelines
• Oversee housekeeping and gardening services and utility management

Job Overview

Manages all aspects of operation and maintenance of multiple/large physical facilities

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and Upkeep of facilities Infrastructure of the Plant like DG, Compressors, UPS, Chillers, STP, ETP to name a few.
• Budgeting the facilities spend for the year.
• Continuous development of the facilities team to enhance their capabilities.
• Follow the TPM methodology for all facilities equipment’s and ensure Zero downtime.
• Execution of projects [Energy & water] to reduce the carbon footprint of the Plant Setup Y-o-Y.
• Planning and Execution of Expansion in Existing facility or Construction of New facilities.
• Facility planning and Layout implementation for New Projects or Transfer Projects or changes in the existing manufacturing plant.
• To ensure the Legal, and Statutory compliances of Facility Management as per EHS, OHSAS and other applicable requirements if any.
• Support immediate reporting officer in all strategically and new developmental activities.
• Completion of Projects as per agreed timeline
• Statutory and Legal Compliances related to Facility management
• Take care of Housekeeping and Gardening services in the Plant.
• Take care of Utility Management such as Transformer, DG Set, Compressors, STP unit, Pump Room, chillers etc.

Critical Experience

• 15-18 Years of Hands on Experience with Facilities equipment’s.
• Atleast 5 yrs experience in Managing budget and team development.
• Atleast one/two large capital project execution responsibility where major Civil, Electrical or other facility was added.
