Job summary

TE Connectivity seeks a skilled maintenance professional in Pune to oversee Reel-to-Reel electroplating lines and wastewater treatment plant systems. You will perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and ensure environmental and safety compliance to maintain uninterrupted production.

Responsibilities include following LOTO procedures, maintaining spares, updating maintenance records, supporting TPM and continuous improvement initiatives, and

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of maintenance experience in electroplating operations and reel-to-reel plating lines.
• Experience with wastewater treatment plants and associated utilities.
• Knowledge of reading pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical drawings.
• Familiarity with ISO/IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on Reel-to-Reel plating lines.
• Maintain WWTP equipment including dosing pumps, pH control systems, clarifiers and tanks.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation issues.
• Update maintenance records and equipment history; complete maintenance reports and work orders.
• Support TPM, Lean Manufacturing, and Continuous Improvement initiatives.

Job description

Role Objective

Responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and continuous improvement of Reel-to-Reel (R2R) electroplating equipment and Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) systems to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted production operations while maintaining environmental compliance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with mechanical, electrical, chemical handling, environmental, and safety regulations.
• Follow Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) procedures during maintenance activities.
• Handle hazardous chemicals according to company and regulatory requirements.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on Reel-to-Reel plating lines.
• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of WWTP equipment and utilities.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation-related issues.
• improvements to increase reliability and productivity. Maintain spare parts inventory and ensure availability of critical equipment components.
• Maintain WWTP equipment including Chemical dosing pumps, pH control systems, Clarifiers and settling tanks, Filter press equipment, Agitators and mixers, Transfer pumps, RO/UF systems, Air blowers and compressors,
• Conduct periodic inspections to ensure environmental compliance.
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled wastewater treatment systems.
• Support operation teams in maintaining wastewater treatment process efficiency.
• Complete maintenance reports and work orders. Maintain accurate maintenance and inspection records.
• Update equipment history and preventive maintenance records.
• Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action implementation.
• Participate in safety audits and risk assessments.
• Support TPM, Lean Manufacturing, and Continuous Improvement initiatives.

Education and Knowledge

• Bachlore /Diploma/Technical Certification in: Mechanical Engineering
• ISO/IATF 16949, ISO 14001 requirements
• Knowledge of reading pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical, electrical drawings.

Critical Experience

• 3-7 years of maintenance experience in: Electroplating operations, Reel-to-Reel plating lines, Wastewater Treatment Plants, Utility equipments like Air scrubbers, Evaporators, Chiller, AHU.
