Job summary

Roots Group in Coimbatore region is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Process Engineer for designing and implementing efficient assembly lines and processes. The candidate will coordinate with US and Indian manufacturing teams, drive SOPs, Poka-yoke, Kaizen, and continuous improvements while leveraging SolidWorks/AutoCAD and SAP PP/MM.

A strong grasp of PFMEA and lean practices is essential. The role requires 5–8 years in mechanical/automotive manufacturing, with a BE/B.Tech in Mechanical or

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Automobile.
• 5–8 years of experience in manufacturing process design and implementation.
• Experience with SOP, Poka-yoke, Kaizen and process innovations.
• Strong ability to coordinate with manufacturing teams in the US and India.
• Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings, BOM and routing systems.
• Knowledge of PFMEA and lean manufacturing principles.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement manufacturing processes and assembly lines.
