As an expert, you work with fabricators to develop them to make sure we get right quality from them. The role will involve visiting the suppliers, monitoring the performance, and initiating performance improvement activities. You will also support the investigation and RCAs with deeper analysis of process records, in case of NCRs, failures, or quality issues. You will be collaborating with GPG process experts, local technical experts, production, and quality teams to ensure reducing Test Failures & COPQ, improving the overall Q&O performance and customer satisfaction. You will be reporting to PT Factory Quality manager.**How you’ll make an impact:*** Supplier Assessment (On-site process audits): Plan and conduct the required supplier on-site audits including assessment reporting, corrective action plan alignment with the suppliers.* Verify the effective closure of corrective action plan items by the supplier side. Support suppliers to fully comply with the process parameters. Enhance check points and control mechanism as necessary to avoid any deviation.* Parts Qualification: Lead the production part approval process for the new supplier parts/materials including the coordination of trial parts and first article inspection activities with the factory quality.* Actively participate in the process of FMEAs, defining the control plans and support their execution.* Supplier Issue Resolution, Non-Conformance, and Claim Management: Lead the non-conformity resolution process with the suppliers in case of the escalated technical issues from the factories and ensure the effective root-cause analysis and the countermeasure implementation by the suppliers.* Supplier Performance Monitoring: Monitor and consolidate the supplier delivery and quality KPI’s, the critical non-conformities escalated from the factories.* Identify the top concern suppliers within the region or specific category.
