Job summary

Capgemini Engineering in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Solution Architect to lead Solumina-based MES/MOM transformations for aerospace programs. You will drive requirements gathering, design scalable MES/ MOM solutions, and steer production execution, quality management, genealogy, and traceability capabilities.

The role requires hands-on Solumina or SAP DMC experience, ISA-95/MOM knowledge, and SAP ERP integration.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in MES/MOM, Manufacturing IT, or Digital Manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with iBase-t Solumina and/or SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud (DMC).
• Strong understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes including Assembly, MRO, Quality, and Shop Floor Execution.
• Experience integrating MES with SAP ERP, PLM, and automation systems.
• Knowledge of ISA-95, MOM, and Industry 4.0 frameworks.
• Strong understanding of product traceability, genealogy, electronic work instructions, and quality compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead solution architecture and implementation of Solumina for aerospace manufacturing programs.
• Gather business requirements and design scalable MES/MOM solutions aligned with aerospace operations.
• Configure and implement capabilities including Production Execution, Work Instructions, Quality Management, Genealogy, Traceability, and Non-Conformance Management.
• Integrate MES with ERP (SAP), PLM, Quality, Supply Chain, and shop-floor systems.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace standards and regulatory requirements.
• Lead solution design workshops, deployment activities, testing, and go-live support.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and IT stakeholders to drive operational excellence.
• Provide technical leadership, governance, and mentoring to project teams.
