Job summary

Capgemini Engineering is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead digital manufacturing initiatives using GE Proficy and/or TrakSYS MES in hybrid manufacturing environments. You will shape MES architecture, production execution, quality management, and shop-floor integration for Consumer Products, FMCG, Food & Beverage, or Retail sectors.

Ideal candidates have 8–10 years in MES or Digital Manufacturing, hands-on GE Proficy/TrakSYS experience, and strong ERP/SCADA integration skills.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in MES, Manufacturing IT, or Digital Manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with GE Proficy and/or TrakSYS MES.
• Knowledge of ISA-95, MOM, and Industry 4.0 frameworks.
• Experience with MES-ERP integration and shop-floor connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Lead solution architecture and implementation of GE Proficy and/or TrakSYS MES platforms.
• Gather business requirements and design scalable MES solutions for manufacturing operations.
• Configure Production Management, Quality, Traceability, OEE, and MOM modules.
• Integrate MES with ERP, WMS, SCADA, PLCs, and data platforms.
• Drive digital manufacturing initiatives and Industry 4.0 concepts.
• Lead workshops, testing, deployment, and go-live activities.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and IT stakeholders.
• Provide technical leadership and governance to project teams.

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect with expertise in GE Proficy and/or TrakSYS MES to lead digital manufacturing and smart factory initiatives across Consumer Products, Retail, and Distribution organizations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in hybrid manufacturing environments, MES architecture, production execution, quality management, and shop-floor integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead solution architecture and implementation of GE Proficy and/or TrakSYS MES platforms.
• Gather business requirements and design scalable MES solutions aligned with manufacturing operations.
• Configure and implement Production Management, Quality, Traceability, OEE, Performance Monitoring, and Electronic Work Instructions.
• Integrate MES with ERP, WMS, SCADA, PLCs, Historians, and enterprise data platforms.
• Drive manufacturing digitization, operational excellence, and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
• Lead solution design workshops, testing, deployment, and go-live activities.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and IT stakeholders.
• Provide technical leadership, governance, and mentoring to project teams.

Required Skills

• 8–10 years of experience in MES, Manufacturing IT, or Digital Manufacturing.
• Hands‑on experience with GE Proficy and/or TrakSYS MES.
• Strong understanding of hybrid manufacturing processes in Consumer Products, FMCG, Food & Beverage, or Retail industries.
• Experience with MES-ERP integration (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and shop-floor connectivity.
• Knowledge of ISA-95, OEE, Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM), and Industry 4.0 frameworks.
• Familiarity with SQL, APIs, industrial communication protocols, and data analytics.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Information Technology, or related field.
• Experience working with Consumer Products, FMCG, Food & Beverage, or Retail organizations.
• GE Proficy and/or TrakSYS certifications preferred.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and consulting skills.
