Job summary

Lakhera Global Services Pvt. Ltd. seeks a seasoned Merchant Acquiring leader to grow our POS, payment gateway, and QR/UPI businesses across India. You will own acquisition, portfolio revenue, and merchant risk while guiding a sales and onboarding team.

You will collaborate with product, tech, and operations to enhance merchant experience, ensure compliance, and drive MIS and reviews for senior management.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years in merchant acquiring or payments.
• 3+ years in people management.
• Strong knowledge of cards, UPI, MDR, settlements, and chargebacks.
• Proven ability to meet acquisition and TPV targets.
• Experience with KYC/AML, RBI, NPCI, PCI-DSS compliance.
• Experience at a bank, payment aggregator, or fintech acquirer.

Responsibilities

• Drive merchant acquisition, activation, and TPV growth targets.
• Build go-to-market plans for segments (retail, e-commerce, travel, SMEs).
• Develop partnerships with ISOs, aggregators, and channel partners.
• Own portfolio P&L, pricing, and commercial negotiations.
• Ensure KYC/AML, RBI, NPCI, card networks, and PCI-DSS compliance; manage chargebacks and fraud with the risk team.
• Lead and coach a team of sales, relationship, and onboarding staff.
• Work with product, tech, and operations to improve merchant experience.
• Prepare MIS and business reviews for senior management.

Experience at a bank, payment aggregator, or fintech acquirer, with existing relationships with large merchants or channel partners.
