Job summary

Naukripay group invites applications for a Merchandiser to manage product development, sampling, and order execution, coordinating between customers, suppliers, production, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Fashion, Textile, Merchandising, or a related field.
• 1–5 years of merchandising experience, preferably in garments, textiles, fashion, or retail.
• Knowledge of product development and production processes.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and basic computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer orders and coordinate the complete merchandising process.
• Communicate with buyers, clients, suppliers, and production teams.
• Develop and follow up on samples, approvals, and product specifications.
• Prepare and maintain order sheets, costing, purchase orders, and production documents.
• Track production schedules and ensure timely order completion.
• Coordinate fabric, trims, accessories, and other material requirements.
• Monitor quality standards and resolve production-related issues.
• Follow up on shipment schedules and delivery commitments.
• Maintain accurate records of orders, samples, approvals, and correspondence.
• Conduct market and competitor research to identify product and trend opportunities.
• Ensure customer requirements and deadlines are met.
