Job summary

Vaibhav Global seeks an experienced handbags merchandising professional to drive product development from concept to delivery. You will manage sourcing, costing, sampling and vendor development, coordinating with design, production and quality teams.

You will ensure quality, meet specifications and cost targets, track trends and opportunities, and maintain trackers, costing sheets and MIS. Prior experience in fashion accessories or leather goods is a plus.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of relevant experience in handbags/accessories merchandising, sourcing or product development.
• Strong knowledge of handbag construction, leather/PU/synthetic materials, trims and manufacturing.
• Strong vendor management, costing and negotiation skills.
• Excellent execution, follow-up and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Experience with fashion accessories, leather goods, lifestyle products or international brands is a plus.
