Job summary

BrillBrains Consultants Pvt.Ltd. in Surat is seeking a Jewellery Merchandiser to join our growing team. The role involves supporting the senior merchandising team with end-to-end order execution, vendor coordination, production tracking and product development.

The ideal candidate will have 4–8 years of core merchandising experience and must be available to join immediately. Strong Excel and ERP/SAP skills, plus fabric and apparel knowledge, are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Education in fashion merchandising or related field.
• 1–3 years of junior/assistant merchandising experience in a retail brand, export house, or buying agency.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP/SAP; strong fabric and apparel knowledge.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with buyers and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end order execution from sampling to final shipment.
• Maintain TNA calendar to ensure timely approvals, materials, and goods.
• Coordinate with vendors and factories to monitor development and production status.
• Coordinate with sampling department to prepare fit samples and production counter-samples.
• Maintain BOM, cost sheets, and MIS production reports.
• Collaborate with QC to ensure final products meet buyer specs.

Job Overview

We are looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented Merchandiser to join our growing team at our Surat ,Gujrat office. In this role, you will assist the senior merchandising team in managing end-to-end order execution, vendor coordination, production tracking, and product development. The ideal candidate will have 4–8years of core merchandising experience and must be available to join immediately.

Key Responsibilities

• Order Execution & Tracking: Assist in managing the complete life cycle of an order from initial sampling to final shipment.
• TNA Management: Maintain and track the Time & Action (TNA) calendar to ensure timely delivery of approvals, raw materials, and final goods.
• Vendor & Factory Coordination: Daily communication with vendors, fabric/trim suppliers, and production factories to monitor development and production status.
• Sampling Management: Coordinate with the internal sampling department to prepare fit samples, size sets, and production counter-samples as per the Buyer's specifications.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOM), cost sheets, and generate internal MIS reports on production status.
• Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the Quality Control (QC) team to ensure final products meet the required quality standards and buyer specifications.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Graduate/Diploma in Fashion Merchandising, Apparel Production, Textile Design, or a related field.
• Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience as a Junior/Assistant Merchandiser in a retail brand, export house, or buying agency.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel (data tracking, formulas) and ERP/SAP software (preferred).
• Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of fabric types, trims, garment construction, and apparel production workflows.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively handle buyer communications and vendor negotiations.
