Job summary

JewelsHire invites a seasoned Merchandiser to manage South Indian Diamond Jewellery merchandising for a renowned Mumbai-based diamond jewellery company in Andheri East. You will lead the end-to-end product development, from concept to final product, collaborating with designers, production teams and vendors to deliver commercially viable collections.

The role requires deep knowledge of South Indian jewellery, strong market insight, and excellent coordination and communication to keep projects on

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant experience in Jewellery Merchandising.
• Strong experience in South Indian Diamond Jewellery is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of the Domestic / Indian jewellery market.
• Good understanding of South Indian traditional and contemporary jewellery designs.
• Hands-on experience in Product Development and Product Coordination.
• Good knowledge of jewellery market trends and customer preferences.
• Strong coordination, communication and follow-up skills.
• Experience working closely with designers, production teams and vendors.
• Ability to manage multiple product development activities independently.
• Strong understanding of design aesthetics and commercial jewellery requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage merchandising activities for South Indian Diamond Jewellery collections.
• Develop and coordinate new jewellery designs and commercially viable collections.
• Work closely with designers to understand and execute product requirements.
• Coordinate the complete product development process from concept to final product.
• Understand South Indian traditional and contemporary jewellery designs.
• Monitor domestic market trends, customer preferences and product requirements.
• Coordinate with design, production and other internal teams for smooth execution.
• Review designs and products based on market requirements, aesthetics and commercial viability.
• Manage sample development, follow-ups and product approvals.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely product development.
• Support collection planning and new product development based on domestic market demand.
• Maintain strong coordination between designers, production teams and other stakeholders.
