Job summary

KGK Group is seeking a hands-on MEP Project Lead in Jaipur, India, to coordinate design and engineering across multi-disciplinary teams and drive successful site installation for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems.

The role requires close collaboration with architects and structural teams, ensuring compliance with local codes and energy-efficiency norms, and delivering smooth handovers to clients and facility managers.

Responsibilities

• Design & Engineering Coordination: Review MEP drawings, BOQs, specs, and load calculations; coordinate layouts with architectural/structural teams using AutoCAD/RevIt/Navisworks.
• Project Execution & Site Management: Lead end-to-end site installation for HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, fire systems, and STP/ETP.
• Procurement & Vendor Management: Assist with tender evaluations, rate contracts, vendor negotiations, and contractor management.
• Budget & Cost Control: Manage MEP budgets, monitor variation claims/change orders, and perform value engineering to optimize costs.
• Statutory Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure works comply with local codes, safety rules, approvals, and green/energy norms.
• Testing, Commissioning & Handover: Oversee pre-commissioning, testing, and handover to facility management or clients.

• Project Execution & Site Management: Lead end-to-end site installation for HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, fire-fighting systems, and sewage/effluent treatment plants (STP/ETP).
• Procurement & Vendor Management: Assist commercial teams with tender evaluations, rate contracts, vendor negotiations, and contractor management.
• Budget & Cost Control: Manage MEP project budgets, monitor variation claims/change orders, and perform value engineering to optimize costs.
• Statutory Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure all works comply with local building codes, safety regulations, statutory approvals, and green building/energy-efficiency norms.
• Testing, Commissioning & Handover: Oversee pre-commissioning, functional testing, and final system handovers to facility management teams or clients.
