Job summary

KG Builders in Chennai invites an experienced MEP Manager to lead end-to-end MEP delivery for premium high-rise residential and commercial projects. You will supervise HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire, and ELV systems, and ensure alignment with project schedules.

You will review shop drawings, coordinate with civil/architectural teams, enforce QA/QC, and drive cost optimization through value engineering. Local knowledge of Tamil Nadu codes and authority approvals is essential.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of experience in Real Estate/Construction.
• Hands-on MEP execution, testing, and balancing (TAB).
• Deep knowledge of Tamil Nadu building codes and RERA norms.
• Experience coordinating with statutory authorities for NOCs.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site MEP installations, testing, and commissioning per schedule.
• Review shop drawings, resolve clashes with civil/architectural teams.
• Manage multiple MEP subcontractors and track bills/variations.
• Ensure QA/QC, safety, and EHS compliance on all sites.

Job Highlights

• End-to-End Execution: Lead MEP delivery (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Firefighting, ELV) for premium residential and commercial high-rises.
• Design & Site Synergy: Bridge the gap between schematic designs (SLDs, BOQs) and zero-defect site execution.
• Statutory Compliance: Drive rapid clearance for local approvals including TANGEDCO, CMWSSB, and Fire NOCs.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of all MEP systems strictly adhering to the master project schedule.
• Review MEP shop drawings, resolve clashes with civil/architectural teams, and drive value engineering to optimize project costs.
• Supervise multiple MEP subcontractors, verify measurement sheets/bills, and manage variation orders.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Education: B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

• Technical Grip: Hands-on expertise in High-Rise MEP execution, testing, and balancing (TAB).
