Job summary

Larsen & Toubro in Chennai is seeking an experienced professional for MEP - Electrical coordination on high-rise residential projects. The role involves implementing PQP, coordinating with PMC, engineers and clients, and ensuring on-site quality and safety.

You will manage subcontractors, monitor progress against the schedule, and ensure timely resolution of NCRs and technical ambiguities, while maintaining QA/QC standards on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in MEP Electrical field.
• Coordinate with PMC, engineers and client on progress and NCRs.
• Experience on high-rise residential projects and QA/QC requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with subordinate staff and execute works per PQP.
• Manage scope of work for high-rise residential buildings.
• Coordinate with PMC, engineer and client on progress reviews and risk mitigation.
• Ensure Quality and HSE policies are implemented on site.
• Track progress against schedule and inform Package Manager.
• Coordinate approved subcontractors under their control.
• Assess manpower, equipment and resources to meet milestones.
• Interface with QC engineers for quality system compliance.
• Ensure as-built mark-ups are forwarded to Design Manager.
• Resolve technical and commercial ambiguities with Package Manager.

Job description

Candidate should have minimum of 5 years in MEP - Electrical field.

• Coordinate with the subordinate staff and execute the works in accordance with the planned schedules and the PQP.
• Scope of work is for High Rise residential building
• Coordinate with PMC, Engineer, and client on various aspects of works including progress reviews, taking proactive measures foreseeing risks, NCR's of MEP scope.
• Effective coordination with all stake holders for conflict resolutions on day to day basis.
• Ensure that the Quality & HSE Policies are effectively implemented in the project.
• Continuously assess the actual progress of work against planned program and inform the respective Package Manager.
• Coordinate the activities of the approved subcontractors under their control.
• Assess manpower, equipment and other resources required to achieve milestone I target
• Dates in coordination with Scheduling function.
• Coordinate with the QC Engineers I Discipline QC Inspectors for fulfilling Quality System requirements & Inspection and testing requirements of the project.
• Ensure that the details required for mark-up drawings of as-built drawings are forwarded to respective Design Manager through respective Package Manager.
• Coordinate with the respective Package Manager and resolve any technical I commercial ambiguities arising during the construction period.
• Ensure effective corrective and preventive actions on the NCRs I CARs pertaining to their scope of work.
• Ensure preparation of Quality Records as called for by the PQP pertaining to their area of work and get them reviewed by the QA/QC function.
• Ensure that only Customer approved materials are used in the project.
• Any other work as assigned by management from time to time
