Job summary

Incuspaze Solutions in India is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to develop detailed electrical system designs, prepare preliminary calculations, and create BOQs for tendering. You will coordinate with architects, project managers, and other design professionals to integrate electrical systems with building design.

The role requires strong knowledge of electrical load calculations, cable sizing, breaker sizing, UPS sizing, and proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit; familiarity with building codes

Responsibilities

• Analysing Client Requirement, project plans, specifications, and drawings to develop detailed cost estimates for electrical systems, including materials, labour, and equipment for sales proposals.
• Preparing and submitting comprehensive cost estimates for tenders and bids, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness
• Accurately measuring and quantifying the materials required for electrical installations, ensuring alignment with project specifications and drawings
• Evaluating vendor offers, negotiating prices, and selecting the most suitable subcontractors for electrical works.
• Working closely with project managers, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure smooth project execution
• Creating designs for Electrical, fire protection systems, often using design software
• Coordinating with architects, structural engineers, and other design professionals to ensure electrical systems integrate smoothly with the building's overall design
• Preparing Preliminary calculations, and specifications for eLECTRICAL systems, including equipment selection and placement with Preliminary SLDs
• Preparing Detailed BOQ with quantity and Technical Specification for floating the tendor
• Resolving Vendor and Clients technical Queries.
• Conducting site visits to monitor progress, ensure quality control, and resolve any issues during the construction phase
• Participating in project meetings with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to discuss design, progress, and resolve issues
