Job summary

Nirmantu Building Service Consultants provides comprehensive MEP consultancy services, delivering integrated HVAC, electrical, and plumbing design solutions with BIM workflows using Revit.

The MEP BIM Modeler will create and maintain detailed BIM models, coordinate drawings, perform clash detection, and support design reviews in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and modeling workflows using Revit.
• Solid understanding of MEP systems and their coordination within building services.
• Experience in preparing and interpreting construction drawings and related documentation.
• Familiarity with architectural concepts and interdisciplinary integration between architecture and MEP models.
• Preferably prior BIM Modeler experience in building services or consultancy environments.

Responsibilities

• Create, develop, and maintain detailed BIM models for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems using Revit and related tools.
• Prepare coordinated construction drawings, update models with design changes, and perform clash detection to resolve conflicts.
• Collaborate with MEP engineers, architects, and stakeholders to integrate design inputs and support design reviews.
• Maintain BIM libraries and contribute to continuous improvement of modeling standards and processes.

Position: MEP BIM Modeler

Role Description

• The MEP BIM Modeler will create, develop, and maintain detailed BIM models for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems using Revit and related tools, ensuring accuracy and consistency with project standards.
• Responsibilities include preparing coordinated construction drawings, updating models based on design changes, and performing clash detection to resolve interdisciplinary conflicts.
• The role involves close collaboration with MEP engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to integrate design inputs, support design reviews, and produce clean, well-documented deliverables.
• The MEP BIM Modeler will also assist in maintaining BIM libraries, following company workflows, and contributing to continuous improvement of modeling standards and processes.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and modeling workflows using tools such as Revit.
• Candidates should possess a solid understanding of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems and their coordination within building services.
• Candidates should possess experience in preparing and interpreting construction drawings and related technical documentation.
• Candidates should possess familiarity with architectural concepts and interdisciplinary integration between architecture and MEP models.
• Relevant diploma or degree in mechanical, electrical, civil engineering, or architecture, or a related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit; experience with clash detection and BIM coordination tools is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and capability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Prior experience as a BIM Modeler in building services or consultancy environments is preferred.
