Job summary

Arth Design Build, based in Hyderabad, seeks an MEP BIM Coordinator (Plant 3D) to manage MEP BIM models and coordinate with multiple disciplines across projects. You will implement BEPs, ensure clash-free detailing, and drive BIM adoption within the team.

The role requires 5+ years in MEP coordination, proficiency in Plant 3D, Revit, Navisworks, and strong collaboration with designers, engineers and subcontractors to deliver constructible results.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Mechanical/Instrumentation Engineering.
• Coordinate MEP models using Plant 3D, Revit, Navisworks and other BIM tools.
• Ensure BEPs and company standards are followed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure clash-free MEP detailing.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage and update BIM models for MEP systems using Autodesk Plant 3D, Revit and Navisworks.
• Ensure BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and company standards are followed.
• Coordinate MEP models with structural, architectural and other disciplines.
• Perform clash detection and resolve coordination issues using Navisworks Manage.
• Work closely with designers, engineers and subcontractors to resolve conflicts.
• Prepare 2D P&ID drawings, 3D models and fabrication drawings based on BIM models.
• Extract BOMs, schedules and reports from the BIM model.
• Work with international teams for multidisciplinary BIM coordination.
• Support the adoption of BIM workflows and best practices within the team.
• Train and mentor junior BIM modelers and drafters on BIM tools and standards.
• Keep up with the latest BIM technologies, industry trends and software updates.

Bachelors degree / Diploma in Mechanical / Instrumentation Engineering with 5+ years of experience

The candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) models using

Autodesk Plant 3D, Revit, Navisworks and other BIM tools. The role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to

ensure clash-free, constructible and efficient MEP detailing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, manage and update BIM models for MEP systems using Autodesk Plant 3D, Revit and Navisworks.
• Ensure BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and company standards are followed.
• Coordinate MEP models with structural, architectural and other disciplines.
• Perform clash detection and resolve coordination issues using Navisworks Manage.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Autodesk Plant 3D, Revit MEP, Navisworks Manage, AutoCAD and BIM 360.
• AutoCAD Plant 3D: Advanced knowledge of modelling, spec-driven design, and orthographic / isometric drawings.
• P&ID; Understanding: Interpretation of process and instrumentation diagrams for system coordination.
• Familiarity with ISO 19650, ISO 16739, IEC 62424 and BIM Level 2 standards.
