Job summary

Sakra World Hospital in Bengaluru, India, seeks a Medical Transcription professional with 2–8 years of experience to join the Administration team. You will handle patient lists, prepare discharge bags, and coordinate with nursing and insurance processes.

The role involves ensuring correct report handovers, preventing duplication of investigations at discharge, and organizing folders for next-day discharges, while liaising with nursing stations for clearance.

Qualifications

• Diploma, Graduation, or certification in Medical Transcription.
• Experience: 2 to 8 years.

Responsibilities

• Taking patient list of the concerned ward.
• Preparing discharge bag (Checking all the investigations and taking printout of remaining reports).
• If patient is an insurance then to take Xerox copy of all the investigations and discharge summary. Original has to handover to TPA and Xerox copies to patient file.
• Checking the patient folder to ensure correct reports are handed over.
• Checking at the time of discharge for the duplication of any investigations. If there is any duplication they will coordinate with the nursing about the same.
• Complete the patient folders and handover the file to nursing.
• Collecting tentative planned discharge for the next day and keep the investigation folders ready by one day.
• If patient is not leaving after their clearance, they have to co-ordinate with the concerned nursing station.
