Responsibilities

• Transcribe physicians' dictated discharge summaries with high accuracy.
• Edit and proofread transcribed documents for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and medical terminology.
• Ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and follows hospital or client guidelines.
• Verify patient demographics, diagnoses, procedures, medications, and follow-up instructions.
• Flag incomplete or unclear dictations for physician clarification.
• Meet daily productivity and turnaround time (TAT) targets.
• Maintain compliance with patient confidentiality and applicable healthcare privacy regulations.
