Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Medicine with MBBS and postgraduate qualifications (MD and DM/DrNB Medical Oncology).
• Specialized expertise in Oncology and cancer management, including solid and hematologic malignancies.
• Ability to collaborate with radiation and surgical oncology teams to develop multidisciplinary treatment plans.

Responsibilities

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Medical Oncologist role based at MVR Cancer Centre & Research Institute in Kozhikode, Kerala. Daily responsibilities include conducting outpatient and inpatient consultations, prescribing and supervising chemotherapy and related systemic therapies, coordinating with radiation oncology and surgical oncology teams, and participating in multidisciplinary tumor boards. The Medical Oncologist will also contribute to clinical research activities, quality improvement initiatives, and training or mentoring of junior medical staff where required.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Medicine, with completed MBBS degree and recognized postgraduate qualification (MD) and DM/DrNB Medical Oncology
• Specialized expertise in Oncology and Cancer management, including solid and hematologic malignancies.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Radiation Oncology and Surgical Oncology teams and other disciplines to develop integrated, multidisciplinary treatment plans
• Ability to work on-site in Kozhikode, function effectively within diverse teams, and adapt to organizational processes and electronic medical record systems.
