Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid registration with NMC/State Medical Council.

• Strong clinical, diagnostic, communication, and patient-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage cancer patients across various types and stages.
• Develop individualized treatment plans including chemo, immunotherapy, and targeted therapy.
• Review labs, imaging and pathology to guide care.
• Monitor response and manage side effects.
• Coordinate with surgeons, radiation oncologists and pathologists for multidisciplinary care.
• Ensure documentation, informed consent, and safety per hospital protocols.
• Participate in tumor boards, CME, quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and manage patients with various types and stages of cancer.
• Develop individualized treatment plans including chemotherapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, and supportive care.
• Review and interpret relevant laboratory, imaging, and pathology reports.
• Monitor treatment response, side effects, and overall patient progress.
• Coordinate with surgeons, radiation oncologists, pathologists, and other specialists for multidisciplinary cancer care.
• Ensure proper documentation, informed consent, medication safety, and adherence to hospital protocols.
• Manage oncology emergencies and treatment-related complications.
• Participate in tumor boards, clinical audits, CME, quality improvement, and patient-safety initiatives.

Qualification:

• MBBS with DM/DNB in Medical Oncology from a recognized institution.
