The role focuses on diagnosing and treating cancer with chemotherapy, targeted therapy, and immunotherapy, in collaboration with surgeons, radiation oncologists, and palliative care specialists.

The ideal candidate will have MBBS and MD/DM/DNB, fellowship in Medical Oncology, and board certification, with a valid medical license.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MBBS, MD/DM/DNB) from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Medical Oncology.
• Board certification in Medical Oncology.
• Valid medical license to practice in [Insert State/Region].
• Strong clinical judgement and decision‑making skills.
• Excellent communication and compassionate patient care abilities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose patients with various forms of cancer.
• Develop individualized treatment plans using chemotherapy, immunotherapy, hormonal therapy, or targeted therapy.
• Monitor patient response to treatment and adjust protocols as needed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including surgeons, radiation oncologists, pathologists, and palliative care providers.
• Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment options, side effects, and prognosis.
• Manage side effects and complications related to cancer therapies.
• Participate in tumor board meetings and contribute to case discussions.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation and use EHR systems effectively.
• Stay informed on the latest research, clinical trials, and oncology treatment advancements.
