Job summary

Cancer Charitable Society is seeking a Consultant Medical Oncologist for Shri Jagannath Charitable Cancer Institute & Research Center, Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh). The role requires DM/DNB in Medical Oncology (or MD/DNB General Medicine with oncology training) and a minimum of 5 years post-qualification clinical experience.

Registration with NMC/State Medical Council is mandatory. The candidate will lead chemotherapy planning, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and multidisciplinary collaboration

Qualifications

• DM / DNB in Medical Oncology from a recognized institution.
• MD / DNB in General Medicine with training in Medical Oncology may also be considered.
• Valid registration with NMC / State Medical Council is mandatory.
• Minimum 5 years of post-qualification clinical experience in Medical Oncology.
• Experience in a reputed cancer hospital/institute will be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Management of solid tumors and hematological malignancies.
• Chemotherapy planning, prescription and supervision.
• Immunotherapy and targeted therapy.
• Standard cancer treatment protocols and evidence-based oncology practices.
• Monitoring of treatment response and treatment-related toxicities.
• Management of chemotherapy-related complications and oncology emergencies.
• Multidisciplinary coordination with Surgical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Radiology and Pathology teams.
• Patient and family counselling regarding diagnosis, treatment options, prognosis and possible side effects.

• - Reporting Time: 9:00 AM
• - Preferred Duty Hours: 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• - Minimum expected availability: 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM

Remuneration

4,00,000 6,00,000 per month, depending on qualification and experience.

Remuneration is negotiable for the right candidate.
