Job summary

HLFPPT invites applications for Medical Officer to support MMU-driven health services in Saharanpur. You will coordinate route plans, deliver preventive, promotive and curative care, and refer patients as required, while maintaining essential health records.

You will supervise MMU staff, manage medicines and supplies, ensure safe waste disposal, engage with government officials and the community, and train the MMU team to sustain high-quality service delivery in thematic health camps.

Qualifications

• MBBS degree and registration with State Medical Council.
• 1-2 years of experience in public health care; fresh graduates can be considered.
• Experience in preventive, promotive and curative health care and referral services.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate development of route plan for the MMU.
• Provide preventive, promotive and curative health care and referral services during MMU-OPDs and thematic health camps.
• Document and maintain health records of patients as per project requirement.
• Utilize, supervise and manage stock of medicines, healthcare products and reagents for regular MMU services and thematic health camps.
• Supervise safe disposal of biomedical wastes.
• Liaise with medical/non-medical staff and government health officials; maintain positive image of HLFPPT.
• Network with other medical professionals in Saharanpur and Munger and solicit support as needed.
• Encourage health literacy amongst target audience.
• Supervise functions and quality of services of the MMU technical team.
• Provide regular need-based technical training to MMU team.

• f. Liaise and interact with other medical, non-medical staff, govt. health department officials and community members and create and maintain positive image of the organization and donor for the services delivered
• g. Network with other medical professionals/ specialists in and around Saharanpur and Munger and solicit their support as and when need arises
• h. Encourage health literacy amongst the target audience
• i. Supervise functions and quality of services of the MMU technical team
• j. Provide regular need-based technical training to MMU team

Medical Officer should has a professional degree (MBBS), registered with State Medical Council, with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience with strong public health care skills (Fresher can be consider).
