Responsibilities
  • Conduct medical camps in designated Camp Sites as per roster and screen target samples within the time frame.
  • Screen, diagnose and refer the patients along with providing health education and primary counselling.
  • Provide preventive, promotive and curative health care services to patients/residents. Regular camp visits and willingness to travel in the allotted camp vehicle to the camp location.
  • Encourage health literacy amongst the target audience and coordinate with all para‑medical and non‑medical staffs of Homes and HLFPPT for smooth functioning of the camps.
  • In case of referral of the patients to nearest facility, the MO shall maintain suitable records and issue a clear descriptive referral slip and is responsible for online MIS entry.
  • Supervise the unit staff in the overall function of the mobile medical clinic.
  • Support the team in the development of route plans for the mobile medical units.
  • Update patient file and records on the internal portal regularly.
  • Ensure required medicines, medical devices, diagnostics and stationery (OP slips, etc.) are available including lab equipment and consumables.
  • Provide frequent and updated reporting (telephonic, e‑mail, other written form) to the project coordinator, manager or any other designated authority.
  • Attend review meetings and execute any assigned duties by the reporting manager from time to time.
  • Perform any other tasks which may be assigned by the reporting manager.
