Job summary

RED.HEALTH is seeking a Medical Officer for its Assistance Center in India. The role requires MBBS with 3+ years in critical care, handling clinical consultations by phone/video, and guiding EMTs in emergency procedures.

You will assess patient conditions per protocols, train staff, and ensure confidentiality and compliance. On-site duties may involve developing response protocols and auditing safety standards.

Qualifications

• MBBS graduate with 3+ years of experience in critical care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially in high-stress situations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Consultation: Provide medical advice for patients of our corporate clients on the phone via video and phone calls ( during off hours from home also).
• Assist in assessing patient conditions and determining appropriate treatments based on established protocols and guidelines.
• Offer guidance and support to on-site personnel regarding medication administration, dosages, and potential side effects.
• Provide clinical training sessions to ensure readiness and proficiency in emergency medical procedures to the EMTs.
• Stay informed about current medical practices, protocols, and medications relevant to emergency medicine.
• Provide guidance and support to EMTs and other staff members on medical issues and questions as needed.
• Uphold patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical and legal standards of medical practice.
• Develop and update emergency response protocols and continue to update your knowledge.
• Enforce records and manage reporting for compliance and quality control.
• JCI Accreditation Compliance and Audit: Lead compliance efforts for JCI standards, including conducting regular audits (you will be guided in this)
• Health and Safety: Ensure adherence to safety protocols and conduct risk assessments of organisations in medical matters.
